Marcus is a decorated veteran, having served in the U.S. Navy’s “silent (submarine) service” in the North Atlantic during the Cold and Gulf Wars. Marcus has a Bachelor’s degree in broadcast and electronic communications, graduating summa cum laude from San Francisco State University. He also holds a Master’s degree in management, which he has used to great advantage as a licensed broker at the prestigious and family-owned Hill and Co. Real Estate.

Born and raised in the Caribbean, Marcus is bilingual and fluent in Spanish, which is a valuable asset in the Bay Area’s multicultural community. Additionally, he has traveled extensively throughout the world, enjoys public speaking, is a student of martial arts, and loves to cook for friends and family. Marcus is married to his high school sweetheart and has two beautiful children.

For Marcus, one of the guiding principles of his life is, “For it is in giving that we receive,” an adage attributed to St. Francis of Assisi.
